The Debian stable release, code-named Sarge, has been upgraded to 3.1r3. This is a minor update mostly consisting of security updates.

During the lifespan of a Debian Stable release minor updates are made to the release to incorporate security fixes, along with other important package updates.

If you're running a Debian Sarge server then you should upgrade, although if you're following security notices you are probably current already.

If you're running a Debian Sarge server and not applying security updates as they are released then you should probably start doing so.
