The Wikipedia article on Diwali renders with unicode symbol 0x25CC missing on my unstable desktop in Firefox.
Can anyone shed a little light as to how I can make this symbol render as expected? And what process I could have used to answer this for myself.
Certain other browsers download fonts on demand - I wonder if that can be made to happen for Debian Iceweasel?
I miss being in Slough, Berkshire, during Diwali. The residents will no doubt again enjoy one of the best firework displays this year, as loads of people celebrate Diwali privately. One can go up the hill and look down on thousands of firewall parties, a truely amazing sight. No doubt there are other places in the world with even bigger celebrations. Exeter doesn't quite have the cultural diversity.
