Discovering new Debian packages

For people who like to experiment with their Debian systems, trying out new packages on a regular basis, you might be interested to know that there is a new site aiming to showcase a single package every day.
The Debian Package A Day site does exactly what its name suggestions; shows a new package every day.
The idea isn't a new one, but after stalling a couple of times it is now back up and running with new caretakers.
If you'd like to see the site grow and thrive then please contribute package suggestions and reviews.
i don't hold out much hope.
there was (first?) the livejournal version.
then debianplanet mentioned this debian.net site a year ago.
and now somebody is trying again, but i don't expect it to last. i would like to be proven wrong, but history says otherwise.
it's too much for a single person. personally, i'm satisfied with the new packages rss feed or entries from the same list in debian weekly news. those lists are automated (from the new package queue) which is the only reason they exist (while the "deb-a-day" sites keep dying off).
anyway, that's where i go to learn about new debian packages.

I guess time will tell. Still this time round there is more than one person involved as you can see from the site itself.
Hopefully with a little bit more advertising other people will join in and help - if they don't and it fails that would be a shame since I do think the idea is a good one.

I suppose it's a sound RSS feed that people may wish to consider picking up.
