#3 fakeroot never worked for me Posted by Anonymous (195.212.xx.xx) on Wed 18 May 2005 at 11:20 Despite all the advice on the web saying to use fakeroot to make the package, I've never been able to use it once. Invariably the fakeroot command fails some way or another, and I resort to the usual sudoing while running make-jpkg. What's wrong with this approach? My machine doesn't seem to be fucked up yet :) Is there a reason for which fakeroot fails?
