i use apache for the http server, and i use
pure-ftpd-common package with the pure-ftpd-mysql package
in the mysql db you you can create user without a real system user
i use the /var/www/www.foo.com structure, but the
/var/www/user structure is the best way, becouse i have user who have 2 site
