I managed to switch to new server hardware with a downtime less than 3 minutes. I wrote a howto, calling this 'hotcloning', which can be found here: http://olivier.sessink.nl/publications/hotcloning/index.html if your new server is supposed to be identical to the old one, this method is the best thing you can do. regards, Olivier Sessink
