What I generally find is that it seems to take a long time to learn and set things up but once they are working they keep working nlike MS Windows which seems to be forever breaking for unknown reasons. I came across this document which seems to be a fantastic overview of setting up a Linux small business server: http://hannibal.solstice.nl/ I have not personally been through it (I probably will be soon) but it looks very good. Good luck, it will be worthwhile...
