You can configure apache once, then add domain directories on the fly with something like: UseCanonicalName Off VirtualDocumentRoot /var/www/%0/public_html VirtualScriptAlias /var/www/%0/cgi-bin as explained in detail at http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/vhosts/mass.html
