If he was still using the reading pair I'm sure using the computer would be much easier. I shall mention to my father that varifocals may be better than plain bifocals next time he replaces his glasses. It's all to easy to miss the problems other users may face. It's easy to accomodate most people but only if you bother to take the time to think about it.
