PHP has to many memory leak issues.
PHP has segmentation fault problem on a lot of functions.
PHP sucks.
Perl has the biggest package number for system administration tasks.
Perl is the faster script interpretor for regexp operations.

It's not my poll, but I did enable it and I'm interested in the results.
I did expect Shell to dominate but never expected anyone to say PHP. I should have edited the poll before I posted it to add ruby as it's a decent scripting language but no body has suggested it.
I use Perl or shell. Simple stuff with shell anything fancy in Perl.
