Missing options

"I don't."

"I tell people good things about it."

"I bash other OSes on OSnews" ;)

Actually, this was kind of difficult to answer, since I do use debian everyday, but I now and then submit a bug. However, I have submitted so few, that I chose the "use it" option.

I use it. And I learn from it by continually finding ways to break my system and then fix it!

I've also managed to get a couple of trojan/virus paranoid family members to use it, although I get the usual complaint: "I can't do <insert here> like I did before?!" Most of the time they can, they just didn't know how (such as some options in OpenOffice). Other times its those annoying animations in Yahoo or MSN that GAIM doesn't support (thankfully).

As long as they have their Limewire to download "legal" content and don't need to worry about viruses or trojans, they're quite happy. And so am I.

Tricky one, as I use it, read some of the lists - but most importantly I post a bunch of Debian-related news items at debian-news.net.

I guess most people help as much as they have energy/talent/ambitions. I kinda like to find and post news about the stuff that interests me. Can't code, can't tell a bug from a feature but I can create a small corner where others looking for some news can drop by now and then.

> Can't code

It didn't ask if they ever accepted my patches, just whether I'd submitted them.

Technically, I help on IRC rather than on mailing lists, but it's the closest relevant answer :)

How about making packages for local use?
I have been the debain package maintainer for a few packages that we require for local use at our Univ but these are generally useless outside.

I mirror! :)
Although I'm a bit ashamed to say that it's not public..
Debian GNU/Opensolaris (nexenta) is public at it though.
