I'm using Boa only because I don't have enough modern hardware for a dedicated Apache box.

Runs well enough, I guess.

This poll would be better titled “my preferred webserver is...” because I use many different httpds. I voted Apache 2 since it's what I use the most, however lighttpd definitely deserves an honourable mention and really can't understand why it was missed off in place of some really quite obscure alternatives. Wow... alot more Apache2 folks than I suspected. I wonder exactly what advantages folks are getting with Apache 2, other than the behemoth of a memory footprint?

I like the application of virtual servers. I have a dynamic IP address and use dyndns to keep track of it. Using wildcards, I can run different services using www.myaccount.example, webmail.myaccount.example, gallery.myaccount.example etc.

I use Caudium webserver. http://caudium.net/ "Caudium is the name of a GPL-ed web server written in Pike and in C." Very good modular webserver.

I'm using Apache 2.x and Lighttpd-1.4.10+patches.

It would be good to see a separate entry for Lighttpd. It is starting to look very promising. I hope we see Lighttpd-1.4.x in Etch.
