In French left is gauche.
These are words that have negative connotations in English.
In other languages there are words that stem for the word "left" that mean awkward, inept, etc.
e.g. Links , or "left" in german probably is tied to linkisch which means awkward. I'm sure that there are other words similar in other languages, but alas I have only studied but a few :-)

I voted ambisinister.
But if you are counting for a reason, file me under left handed with ambidextrous tendencies, since I write left handed, but play racket sports and shoot (if the occasion arises) right handed, although like my dad I can play most racket sports left handed without too much loss of ability (as I have precious little to start with).
