Most of the people I work with are luddites, so I tend not to use groupware. However, some groups have been convinced that mailing lists and wikis are good and they get by using these.

Never really used the term "groupware"...
I like using a local intranet wiki.
One place I know of uses AIM.
What does the "Google" choice mean? Does it refer to gmail's chat feature?

The GPL fork is being ignored though. It's really an amazing product and the commercial fork doesn't cost an arm and a leg though I don't really need it.

I'm a longtime a horde fan, though it's PITA to set up so I really hope better debian packages are forthcoming.
I worship webcit just because I ran a dracit dialup BBS in the early 90s and somehow they managed to make groupware out of it. I'm not sure I'd ever use it for that, but I love that it exists.
