| Bio: | I'm a computer tech and system admin for a university medical research deparment in Arizona. I'm aspiring to learn more about server administration and *nix based operating systems in general. My goals for now are to master Samba, CUPS, vsftp, MySQL and Apache setup and configuration. Once I can get a good feel for those I want to learn everything useful that I can to tweak and fine-tune a system (not to the point that Gentoo does it, mind you!), as well as managing processes, and covering every possible security hole in a system. I have a bit of experience but not a ton, so I hope to be helpful here where I can, and hope to learn as much as possible along the way! This is the most useful Debian resource and most friendly Debian community I've seen. Kudos to the author! |
