Recently (as in the beginning of the month) a new version of Monit has been released, the problem is that the Debian package maintainer hasn't noticed or has been to busy and theres no unstable deb package for the new version. I want to have the new version on my production server as it now has the added bonus of mysql/dns protocol testing and alert over time.

So i've made my own version of the package, compiled on stable and seems to be working fine.
