http://goodbye-microsoft.com/ sounds interesting. Too bad I don't have a MS box to try this out on.

Ideally we shouldn't have the MS tax in the first place.

In an ideal world yes, but giving more installation options is great. I have tried this windows installer and it works quite well, it initially installs to the windows boot loader, reads the files from C: then boots the etch debian-installer for a _native_ installation once done, i believe the ubuntu version of this app actually stores its files onto ntfs.

Works great, couldn't find a way to choose either 32bit or 64bit in the install however, it installed 64bit for me automatically.

Its useful if you have no cdrs and use windows, but i will still install from cd :)
