I have kubuntu installed on a PowerBook G4, and it was running fine save for a few problems with Firefox 3, however a few minutes after an update, the computer crashed, and now the X server fails to load. when I run startx, i get this error: http://img14.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=19360_Picture_003_122_677lo.jpg.
I can use command line, but nothing graphical works. I tied to boot up the live cd to see if that would work, but i get error "invalid memory access". I cannot connect to the internet with the computer, so I cannot reinstall x server. If someone has any ideas/advice about this, it would be great if they could post them here.

I have in installed Kubuntu on a PowerBook G4 and am in the proses of seeing if most KDE apps will work on it. So far i have installed the latest versions of Katapult and Ksmothdock. Both seem to work fine, except for Katapult freezing the computer the first time it loaded. However, after that it worked fine. Yakuake is the next KDE app i will try to install.
