A topical entry to match an article which will go live tomorrow/soon!

My source of Gouda cheese has vanished. I shall have to scour the city for
another, or I will never be able to make a decent 5 minute pizza again :-(

Ouch ... I love a bit of Gouda every now and again.

Actually this silly entry aside I really do like most cheeses, except for the soft varieties.

My two favourites are smoked cheddar and yak. The last one's sort of stinky and made in Nepal, so not too expensive here in Delhi. Smoked cheddar imported from the UK is actually more expensive. The Gouda I was bemoaning the loss of was actually an outsourced Gouda Cheese - mebbe they should have called it Gujrat Cheese instead ;-).

Then of course you have the indestructible native cheese of India - paneer. Dry it, then fry it and IT DOESN'T MELT! Get it to a crisp golden brown and add a touch of salt. Totally yummy.

Mmmm...cheeses...
