I thought today that I would have the chance to sit down and do some serious work. Instead I think the day mostly consisted of bugfixes.

Nice to have things working better, unfortunate they existed in the first place.

I fixed some issues with the display of weblogs for users who had no entries, (corner case which wasn't handled correctly), and reassured myself that the site preferences code is caching and uncaching itself correctly.

The site-preferences were mostly tweaked since I've made the alternative CSS style which Simon Waters authored an official thing.

What does that mean? Two things; firstly it was added to the CVS repository and secondly I promise to keep it in sync with the main CSS stylesheet - for example the recent poll styling I added.

If you wish to use the stylesheet see your preferences page and add /css/fancy.css to the appropriate box.

Anybody else who wishes to submit a "theme" is welcome, or even just small tweaks.

Update: I've made the different types of tag view bookmarkable, and updated the recent-tag section to be accurate.
