Weblog entry #74 for Steve
Thanks to a suggestion by K2 articles, polls, and weblog entries are now bookmarkable.
You will find a link "Bookmark this" to the right of anything you may bookmark.
Upon a users profile page, such as my page, you will see a link to the bookmarks a user has made.
You can add/remove bookmarks of your own as you see fit. If this turns out to be expensive I'll limit users to say 50/100. Right now I think it should be safe enough to allow an arbitary number since 99% of users will never bookmark anything and that will offset those bookmark-heavy users.
Feedback welcome, as always.
TODO: Allow users to edit the title of their bookmarks?
PRIVACY: Bookmarks are public, is this desired?

A big thanks to you Steve.
For privacy of list of bookmarks, I think it can be public as the articles, weblogs, etc are public already. That would be acceptable unless someone wants to harness that information and run an algorithm on it to do psycho-analysis of the users' reading habits ;).

You're welcome, it was an interesting request and I could see the use for it straight away.
It was also much simpler to code from scratch than the RSS + tagging functions I've been working on for the past week :S

Thanks!
As soon as it was suggested I could see it was going to be a useful feature - and already I've found it has saved me a fair bit of time.
I do like it when people suggest things that are straightfoward to code and immediately useful :)
