Debian merchandise

Does anybody know of a webpage where I could buy Debian tshirts, mugs, stickers & the like and support the project this way?

A google search leads to the debian merchandise page.
OTOH, if your goal is to financially support the project, you could always donate to Software in the Public Interest, with your donation earmarked for debian.

Where you find the (obscurely hidden) link for UK t-shirts;

These are sold for Debian UK (I doubt they make much money from them), which isn't an official Debian body AIUI (which may be wrong) but more a Debian Developers in the UK group, but has all the cool advertising spoof t-shirts "Debian - the best a geek can get" and "Good things come to those who wait", which are probably the ones you really want.
