Loutre is dead, long live Loutre!

My last computer at home still running Windows just got wiped. It had been hanging around for ages unused but today I decided it was time to install Debian Etch on it.
I only need it for making presentations. I'm going to have to prove that Linux works on low end kit, Loutre[*] is an eight year old Dell Inspiron, with a 233 MHz CPU and only 256 MiB of RAM and an small and slow IBM TravelStar hard disk.
If I install Fluxbox as my default Window manager and don't try to do anything silly it should be capable of showing OO.org/PDF presentations without a problem. If it's not fast enough I'll just get replacement cheap Dell - they are only 400 quid and come Linux pre-installed! See my previous post http://www.debian-administration.org/users/ajt/weblog/102
* loutre is French for otter. All my boxes are named after animals, alternating between English and French.
