New Year

It's a new year apparently. HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!
Going back to work has been a pain, not that work is boring at the moment, but a few days off does make you realise how much more useful time is when you are in control of it...
It was supposed to snow today but it didn't, so I'm feeling a little let down. When you can't even rely on the British weather, the world is coming to an end. A bit over the top, but I've not walked through snow (fluffy or otherwise) in quite a while and at the moment I miss it. It's not winter without snow.
Sometime this spring I'll get a new server for home, it will be fun to stream my music collection using a daap[1] server to amaroK rather just letting it read the music locally as it does at the moment. A cool talk at the last LUG that got me interested in that. I could also get a Squeezebox...
