Too Many Things At Once

I really need to take a break, I'm doing far to many things at once,. For the past few months I've been working on a big project at work and I'm now dreaming in ABAP (COBOL) which is a sure sign that things are too much.

Yesterday was a LUG meeting, my first as chairman. I gave my DAD talk as a practice for the UKUUG Linux'08 meeting next weekend. It went well and I'm happy with it now.

I've now got to finish off setting up my dad's new Viglen MPC-L system. I've got Debian Lenny on there and KDE set-up. It's not fast but I think it's going to be fast enough. It has more disk space so I can put more things on it even if they are not going to be used. On the command line it feels quick but the GUI is sluggish, KDE is no slower than XFCE as set-up by Viglen. Later today I'll try Fluxbox which I tend to find is faster than KDE, I just need to figure out how to configure it to make it as usable as KDE next...

I've also got a mouthful of ulcers, which confirms that I'm under stress, if dreaming in code doesn't 100% prove it.
