Apress sent me a lot of books for reviewing. I plan to review a couple but I'm hoping that members of my LUG will do most of the reviewing. We do have some reviews on the LUG web site already but they are mostly mine and only reposts!

I've been mostly disappointed with Apress books, most are not what I'd expect. I've had some excellent ones though and even the ones I didn't like were not bad per se, rather not what I expected given the title.

So far the current batch has one book I'm glad I didn't buy (misleading title again) and one I think I would buy that I wouldn't have thought of buying.
