Ulcers and Upgrades...

The past few days have been somewhat stress inducing...

  • Failed Informix/SAP restore at work ate up a lot of the weekend.
  • At home an Etch upgrade broke lots of things, now mostly fixed.
  • Idiots in head office can't design a decent web site for love or money, and are now expecting me to do most of the work.
  • Better half is depressed.
  • We've had no snow, just cold damp weather for weeks...

I've now got a mouth full of ulcers - a sure sign of stress, and multiple incompatible deadlines at work.

-> REPRIORITISE!

Don't know how Tapas will help my better half specifically, but taking her out is probably a good idea.

A holiday is a jolly good idea. We were even talking about that on the way home from badminton last night.

Prioritising is a good idea, but alas I suffer the bane of doing multiple jobs within the company, which means I have effectivly multiple bosses: Web - Linux/AIX - Informix/SAP... At the moment I have to do something or I'll fall to pieces.
