It's hardly the same as a full visit to the conference, but assuming the traffic isn't too bad I should make the tail end of Debconf7. I'm not sure if anyone will be left around, but if they are I'll try and pass by.

After that it's on to the west coast for what could be a very excellent or very wet and miserable summer holiday.

'till now, 2 days of sun on 9 is not that bad for EDI! :)

Well I'm hoping for a lot of sun, life gets miserable in a tent if it rains constantly. As long as you don't get all the sun that's okay!

I hope the meeting is going well, it's a shame to miss it but I owe my family some time now and then.

The only downside that I can think of is that many people will be leaving around then, and also I expect to be exceedingly drunk upon Friday evening. (A rare occurance, honest!).

Still I'm looking forward to getting to see you face to face, after all the comments!

I know nothing is ideal! I had hoped to get there on a useful day, but ScotRail and life conspired against me.
