What are the pitfalls?

I followed https://help.ubuntu.com/community/NFSv4Howto, but it ends with "mount: permission denied" when i try to mount. Before spending more time on it i just like to know if nfs4 with kerberos can work out of the box in Etch? And where can i find documentation?
