Almost all german laws are available online to read, search and print. This is a pretty useful service and I've used it several times (police tryed to tell me that my car was not allowed to park at the place where I parked it, etc.)

Are there similar sites for other country's laws?

http://legifrance.gouv.fr/ in France, very useful, but it is not very easy to find clear information, as French laws are numerous and ambiguous...

The Government set up a few years ago http://www.service-public.fr/ wich is the portal for Public information (links to institutional web sites, but also clear information for French citizens etc.)

Cheers, Julien
