Since this weekend people in Florida a allowed to shoot each other.

But I can't imagine that this is realy useful. Are people in Florida realy that dangerous that they need be shoot? And what happen if you drive with a taxi? The driver can shoot you and tell the police you tryed to attack him - this law make it possible!

And I also ask myself how anybody could think about passing laws like this. Is it the cosmic radiation? Or did their cow-madness tests fail?

I'm happy not to live in Florida!

Were you planning to break into someone's house, or carjack someone while you visit Florida? No? Then you have nothing to worry about. If you are not planning to commit or threaten people with criminal acts of violence or breaking-and-entering, then you have nothing to worry about.

The previous law required victims to run first and try to protect themselves later. So if someone broke into your house, you were legally required to run away and hope he didn't chase you, rather than do something to defend yourself and your family.

If you think laws should favor the protection of evil criminals over the protection of innocent citizens, then please, stay in your own...wherever you are. This new law is a triumph of common sense and the right to self-defense over the stupidity of cowardice and ignorance.
