Does anyone know why partimage is not in sarge (but is in woody and sid)? Which tool are we supposed to use to make backup images of partitions in sarge?

Being away for the last 8 weeks, I find myself having to upgrade hundreds of packages on my computer running sid. Now I can't use synaptic --- it gives a seg fault. Maybe this will go away when the next version is out.

There are resources in english on the web, for example, Make Debian Support Chinese on the Hong Kong LUG site. There is still a chunk of chinese mid-way through, but those are ignorable.

Incidentally, you might want to ignore the instruction of creating a new file /etc/X11/Xsession.d/95xinput and instead put them in ~/.xinitrc or ~/.xsession as appropriate.
