Setting up Chinese in Debian
Posted by calibration on Thu 14 Jul 2005 at 01:42
This is in response to forrest's blog #2: How to enter Chinese in mozilla mail?.
There are resources in english on the web, for example, Make Debian Support Chinese on the Hong Kong LUG site. There is still a chunk of chinese mid-way through, but those are ignorable.
Incidentally, you might want to ignore the instruction of creating a new file /etc/X11/Xsession.d/95xinput and instead put them in ~/.xinitrc or ~/.xsession as appropriate.
