Hi,

In most of the ISP's now a days they are providing 2 GB or 4 gb etc.. bandwidth downloads for their users. How ISP's are restricting this download limit. They are using radius servers or any cisco instruments

If this can be done using radius servers how do we do this if any one is using freeradius server

Please help me on this i knew that you are working for an ISP provider so you should be having good idea about this.

Thanks for your help

I'm not involved with that side of things, so I cannot suggest anything beyond posting your question to the debian-isp mailing list.

that what you need should be called "traffic limit". bandwidth is the realtime-throughput of an interface. freeradius could return needed attributes, but your NAS is the most important part of the setup. If your NAS has attributes like "bytes-until-disconnect" ;) or similar, then it is possible to implement it. Just drop us a line at the freeradius mailing list and someone will be able to help you.

Regards !
