xcompmgr and transset in experimental

anyone installed xcompmgr and transset from experimental onto their unstable box? it works fine, BUT root-tail outputs dont get refresh and the text just displays on top of previous outputs. big problem, i like root-tail A ALOT!!! (=
and some apps like the wm applets, mplayer flickers when i run 3ddesktop, works fine without xcompmgr running...

root-tail doesn't refresh on openbox :(
