Bio:	Rocket Scientist by Day Debian user by... well, all the time! My background is in mathematics and physics. I have worked in earth remote sensing for many years. Doing satellite data analysis and radiative transfer modeling. I have migrated into high performance computing and other related computer work, such as data modeling, DBMS, data mining and network analysis. I started using Debian at home about 4 years ago and now use it at work as well. I have taught Perl programming at UCLA Extension in the USA. I used to do tons of Perl programming, but have migrated to Python lately. I keep saying I'll get the course notes backup on the web, but never seem to find time. I also like to play with Lego robotics.
