I don't think I understand the problem actually.
Assuming this is an adsl modem, then the ISP usually just has the modem set up with their recommended settings as a gateway and you plug it in. The lights blink and the modem is connected via adsl.
You can just login to the modem, usually by telnet to port 80 (often the modem is just an embedded GNU/Linux) or by going to the modem ip with your web browser.
Like I said, maybe I don't understand the problem. Have a chat with your local LUG?

I'm sorry for my confusing question, because I really confuse about this one.
Actually, I want to make a PPPoE connection using my modem "2WIRE 1700HG" ( My ISP support for PPPoE Connection ).
When I try command #pppoeconf
A message prompt like this
"NOT CONNECTED"
"Sorry I scan 2 interfaces .... " --> mean that I cannot make a connection.
Is there any solution for my problem .. ?
Thank you.

First of all, you have to realize if your 'modem' is working in 'bridging mode' or not.
Question: do you know you modem's IP? If you know, it's not running in 'bridging' mode and you probably should point your browser at the modem's IP and configure something.
If you don't, call up your ISP and ask them about the IP. If they say the modem does not have IP, it is running in bridging mode, and only then you use 'pppoeconf'.
