is it a bug?

After trying to make my HP psc 1215 USB printer work on my sarge box, I found a post in a forum about a known bug in CUPS.
After building the drivers for this printer, I was able to add it using CUPS interface, though I couldn't print anything! In case my article gets accepted by the admin, you'll be able to read a closer description of my problem in the main page.
Is it a bug or just my me?
