Debian - getting too good?

logcheck was pestering me about imap-logins as I use user names with an "@" in, and the rules in the Sarge logcheck only allow for ".","-", and alphanumerics, and so fail to ignore my IMAP logins.
So I fixed up /etc/logcheck/ignore.d.server/dovecot, and being a good netizen I decided a wish list bug with the correct set of default user name character in the regular expressions should be filed. However a quick check in Sid, shows this is already fixed in later versions of the logcheck-database. Darn I could have saved myself a little regexp writing, if only I'd upgraded to Etch already.
106 release critical bugs and counting.
