Getting Debian Sarge on a DELL 6450 with Perc 2/DC

Seems the Perc 2/DC is an AMI megaraid 467.
Docs say the 2.4 megaraid2 driver should work. So an "expert24" in the Etch Beta 1 installer does the trick. Both the megaraid drivers in the default (2.6) Etch Beta 1 installer appear to fail to find the relevant disks, although that might be them fighting with each other.
So I can use the Etch installer to install Sarge.
Or I can use the Debian for DELL image, and install Woody, and upgrade.
But I didn't get the Sarge installer to work - ho hum.
