Google noticed - kind of...

I don't suppose any humans at Google noticed, but replacing my Google Ads with a banner;Don't be Evil; Our search results are the best we know how to produce, they are unbiased and objective. Except in China.

got me an automated, 'we noticed you are no longer displaying our adverts on your site'. As I joked with Steve before, I sacrificed all of about 0.12 USD per day to make my feelings known, but you have to admire the efficiency of a system that can automatically detect and report on the lost of a revenue stream of the order of a dime a day, as well as automatically suggesting how I might improve my, and their, revenue.

The fact that Google filters it's content for China is quite good. It just point out very obviously that there is something wrong about human rights in China, doesn't it?
