Weblog entry #1 for tonybaldwin

Hi. I'm Tony Baldwin.
I generally blog at tonybaldwin.me/blog.
I may or may not use this here blog for matters pertinent to my adventures in Debian Administration.
I have been using Debian Gnu/Linux since about 2009, now. I have used GNU/Linux in various forms on my computers, and only gnu/linux, since 2000. I previously used PCLinuxOS, Ubuntu, Fedora, and Redhat in reverse order there.
Professionally, I am a translator and interpreter of French, Portuguese and Spanish to US English.
I am currently engaged in the translation of Raphael Hertzog's book, The Debian Administrator's Handbook.
I am learning quite a bit from this project. There is always more to learn.
I dabble in software development, photography, guitar, and other pursuits in my copious spare time.
